Manage guest users
What is a MyDrive Guest User
Allow selected people access via login and define what they can do.
Each guest user has their own username and password.
He can log in to MyDrive with guestusername@mainusername.
Set up guest user
Open Settings in the sidebar on the left.
Click on Guest Users in the menu bar at the top.
Now click the Create new guest user.
Define the default access, which applies to all folders.
(If in doubt, select Visible without contents).
Set access rights per guest user
Open Settings in the sidebar on the left.
Click on Guest Users in the menu bar at the top.
Click Details for a guest user.
A newly created guest user has access to all folders defined during setup.
Access can be changed for each folder.
To add folders click Select Folder.
Define the desired access rights for each folder in the list.

To do this, click on Home and in the folder view List on the icon on the far right.
Set the desired accesses for each guest user here.
Choose between the following accesses:
Two examples from practice
You have a folder Photos. This folder contains many subfolders.
1st example
You want to share only the Australia folder.
- Define access to the Photos folder as Visible without content
- Define the subfolder Australia as download
2nd example
You want to share all folders, but not the Tanzania folder.
- Define access to the Photos folder as a download
- Define the Tanzania subfolder as Invisible
Please note the following:
- Newly created folders get the access of the parent folder.
- If a folder is moved, it also gets the access of the parent folder.
