Set up FTP storage
Access via web browser
Open www.ftppro.ch in your web browser.
Enter the username and password which you’ve received by e-mail.
After logging in, you will immediately see the start folder and the existing files.
You can change the password at any time under Settings Main user.
To upload files, click on Upload in the menu bar on the right. Select the desired files in the window that now opens. Click Open to upload them to the FTP Storage.
You can upload entire folders with Drag & Drop.
Please note that only files up to a maximum size of 2 GB can be uploaded with the web browser.
The web interface is mobile-compatible and can therefore also be easily operated via smartphone.
Access via network drive under Windows
Open Windows Explorer.
Right-click on This PC.
Select Add network address.
Click on Next and enter ftp://username:firstname.lastname@example.org (with your correct information)
Enter a name for the network address.
You will now find a folder with the selected name under This PC. This points directly to your FTP Storage.
Access via MAC OS Finder
Open Finder and then click on the tab Go to? Connect to server. You can also do this with the key combination cmd+K.
Now enter ftp://username:email@example.com (with your correct information) and click on Connect.
Now select Connect as registered user and enter your password. Finish by clicking on Connect.
You now have access to the data via Finder.
By pressing ALT+CMD at the same time, you can drag and drop the icon onto the desktop.
Important: With Finder you can only download data. Uploading data or creating folders is unfortunately not supported with MAC OS.
Access via FileZilla
Open FileZilla and then click File > Server Manager.
Click on New Server.
Enter a name for the connection.
For Protocol, choose between FTP - File Transfer Protocol or SFTP - SSH File Transfer Protocol.
Enter ftppro.ch for Server.
Leave the Port field blank. This automatically selects the default port.
Select Normal for Connection Type and enter your access data for User and Password.
If you want to use SSL encryption, select FTPES - FTP via explicit SSL under Encryption.
Finish with Connect.
In the right-hand window you will now see the data on the FTP Storage. In the left window, the data from the local directory is displayed.
