What happens if I do not renew my subscription?

We will contact you by email before your chosen subscription period expires. If you wish to renew your subscription, simply pay the amount using your chosen payment method.

 

If you do not wish to renew your subscription, you still have enough time until the expiry date to back up your data from our data centres.

Why are no prices visible?

Please register first free of charge. Afterwards you will see the whole range with prices and you can order directly according to your wishes.

How much does additional space or guest users cost?

Prices vary depending on the quantity ordered. Hint: The more you order, the cheaper.
After you have signed up for free, use our price calculator under "Change subscription" to get the exact price.

Are there any limits on the files I can upload?

No, you can upload all possible file types.

With the web browsers, the upload is supported up to 10 GB per file. If you don't have enough free space on your account, you can always extend it under "Change subscription".

Is there an App for mobile devices?

Yes, for MyDrive we offer the MyDrive App for Android and iOS devices.

Can I share a file or folder?

Yes, if you have an active account on MyDrive, you can easily share files or folders with your friends without login.

 

Right-click a folder or file and go to Share

A window with the selected folder or file is displayed.

  1. Set an expiry date or leave it blank
  2. Change the permissions
  3. Then click on Create Link
  4. Send it to your friends

When you share a folder, you can set the following share permissions:

  • Download
    The contents of the shared folder can be viewed, downloaded and played back.
  • Upload
    The contents of the shared folder remain invisible to friends.
    However, friends can upload files and folders.
  • Upload & Download
    The contents of the shared folder can be viewed, downloaded and played.
    Files and folders can be uploaded.
  • Full access
    The contents of the shared folder can be viewed, downloaded, played back, and deleted. Files and folders can be uploaded.

 

Share Overview

If you click Share Overview in the menu on the left, you will see all the links with the expiration date, permission and number of downloads.

You can perform the following actions per share link:

  • Copy link: The corresponding link will be copied to the clipboard.
  • Delete link: The corresponding link will be deleted. Access without login is no longer possible.
  • Change expiration date.
  • Change access permission.
  • Reset downloads to zero.

 

Can I synchronize the data automatically?

Yes, MyDrive Sync synchronizes the selected data between your MyDrive account and the computer. This way you always have the latest versions of all data at hand.

 

It works like this:

  • The synchronization is done to the MyDrive account completely automatically. As soon as something has changed, for example when a file or folder has been added or an existing file has been edited or deleted, MyDrive Sync updates these changes on all devices on which you are logged in.
  • As soon as there is an active internet connection, the data is updated in the background. If you are offline, the data will be synchronized automatically as soon as the device is back online and MyDrive Sync is started.
  • Select the sync direction for each folder during setup.

Can I restore files, that I accidentally have deleted?

Yes, when you delete data, it is automatically moved to the recycle bin for 30 days. If necessary, you can easily restore the data this way.

 

If the data in the recycle bin has already been deleted, it will still be available in the backup for 28 days. Please contact us if you want to restore your data.

 

How does drag & drop work?

You can upload your files to MyDrive directly and easily via drag & drop using the web browser.

 

To do this, select the corresponding files in your Windows Explorer or Mac Finder. Now drag these files into the browser window with the mouse button pressed in which MyDrive is open.
