There are no restrictions. You can upload all possible file types.
With the web browsers, the upload is supported up to 10 GB per file. If you don't have enough free space on your account, you can always extend it under "Change subscription".
Yes, with the web browser you can upload large files up to 10 GB directly to MyDrive.
With the MyDrive Client you can also upload files larger than 10 GB.
Note that uploading large files may take some time depending on your internet connection. Make sure that a stable internet connection is available.
You can very easily share individual files or folders with your friends without login.
Additionally, you have the possibility to set permissions and expiration date for sharing.
With Share Overview you have your shared data under control at all times.
The WebDAV protocol sets size restrictions for uploading and downloading individual files from Windows. While the limits for uploading are generously set at 2 GB per individual file, Windows limits the size of individual files for downloading to 47 MB.
If you try to download larger single files, you will receive an error message (Error 0x800700DF). This restriction can be removed in the Windows Registry and the maximum value of 4 GB allowed for WebDAV can be set.

With the web browser, the upload is supported up to 10 GB per file.
No, you can only access your data via MyDrive. For security reasons, access with a different address is not allowed. This prevents content from other servers from being read or loaded without the user's knowledge. For example, your data is protected from the man-in-the-middle attack (MITM).
With the browser standard upload, the MyDrive Client the MyDrive Sync and the MyDrive App, the local modification time of your files is automatically taken over. With WebDAV connections, this depends on the WebDAV client you are using.

Each folder may not contain more than 10'000 files or subfolders in total. With the paid version, the limit per folder is 20'000 files or subfolders. You can store more files by splitting them into multiple folders.

Yes, MyDrive Sync synchronizes the selected data between your MyDrive account and the computer. This way you always have the latest versions of all data at hand.

Yes, deleted data is automatically moved to the recycle bin for 30 days. So you can restore any data yourself at any time.
If data was also deleted in the recycle bin, it is still available for 28 days in our emergency backup.

Yes, very many simultaneous logins are possible.
To prevent abuse, the maximum number of simultaneous logins is limited to 200 (50 for the free account).
Yes, you can open multiple accounts at the same time. However, you must open a new private window (incognito window) for each login in the browser. Alternatively, you can open different browsers.
When using WebDAV, it's usually possible to set up multiple connection profiles in your client that can be used simultaneously.
If you use Windows Explorer and can't change the saved account credentials, follow these steps to delete them:
Yes, you can reset the download limit. Log in to your account as an administrator. Then switch to the Share Overview menu. Click the icon in the "Downloads" column to the right of the corresponding share link. The downloads will be reset and up to 2000 downloads can be performed on this shared link again.
No, but you can use our MyDrive Client or WebDAV. This will give you similar functionality to the FTP offering. If you're interested in normal FTP storage, please have a look at our Swiss Premium FTP offers.
